Healthy but not heavy, medium complexion, chin length hair. Slender hands and fingers. Wouldn't burn in the sun, but not dark either. Just the garden variety medium skin tone. Nice teeth. |

| SHORT HISTORY |
Grew up in the kitchens of Cibola Hold. One of the many children there. Never stood out or shrank back, just your average kid. Did well enough in school, but liked the small plot of land she was able to work. We're talking maybe 6'x6' of land. She loves strawberries, and veggies she grew herself. Used her crops to make jams and canned veggies for gathers. Having kitchen stuffs or a bit of earth on her clothing wasn't odd. She isn't one of the primping girls of the hold. Not a tomboy, but not a mirror maniac. She does clean up well and when the time called for neat and clean, she was. Many hold folk commented that she was pretty when cleaned up. 3rd child of a medium size family, more often the peace keeper with the sibs. |

she is mottled aspen leaf green - think just before fall hits. Lighter in some spots, darker in others, no pattern or consistency to the mottling. Very few flexs of redbrowns and yellows.
She is a relaxed, fun dragon. Like her rider not intense or wound to tight. Likes a good joke and meal. Silly when the time calls and deadly serious at others. even keeled dragon. |

Was searched this go round and taken to the weyr a couple of weeks before the hatching. She made herself at home with the kitchen folk just in case she didn't impress. She did have a suitor but her father deemed it would be a honor to have a rider in the family. Truth be told her father named her oldest brother Yazag just in case he was searched, his name could be made an honorific easily, and the same for all the boys. When none were searched time after time he never gave up hope for a dragon rider in the family since the boys were still young. When the search riders came and picked Zaphira he was thrilled. The suitor was placed on hold and off Zaphira went to the weyr. He was so pleased that he may just get a rider after all - and a girl can ride a green. When Zaphira impressed Ioth, she became the family's green. No other dragon on Pern was as spectacular in Zaphira's eyes, or her family's. |
