PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION |
Sh'ay's model is Neil Haskell
Boyishly cute looks, big feet, long and slender hands, and in need of
some meat on his bones. A speck of a birthmark rests high on his right
cheekbone and he has a rather long, sharp nose to his narrow face that
gives him a certain roguish look, especially coupled with his innocent
smile that promises devilment near at hand. A toe-head blonde, he wears it spiky and has brown eyes.
However, due to a massive injury sustained on Threadfall 32.02.17,
Sh'ay had to undergo intensive reconstruction surgery of cheek and
nose. He now bares only the slightest of scars, nearly invisible,
though the dimple in that cheek is a mere shadow now, compared to the
one in his other.
Though he has undergone a great many hardships for one so young, he has come through on the other side, still on the lanky side but growing fast and with the muscles a Dragonrider twice his age would be proud of.

| PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION |
Sh'ay is an all-around average sort of kid. Energetic, often times
hyper with a lust for life and mischief. He occasionally talks too
loud, wears his day clothes to bed, and forgets to brush his hair. But
all in all he is a charming sort of brat who likes to sing ridiculous
tunes off-key, unwittingly hiding the fact that he has a truly sweet
voice that can hit high notes other males have to be kicked and in
agony to achieve.
Small objects find themselves bouncing off of the sides of his feet and
his instructors are forever annoyed with his wandering attention,
though his intelligence cannot be faulted and the outcome of his
studies never fall short of the mark.
Unfortuanetly, Sh'ay witnessed a terrible tragedy
while net fishing with his fellow young rider, Bronze bonded G'rin, and
the experience left him a mere shell of what he was previously,
leaving him hollow and haunted. His appearance was the last thing on his
tortured mind and he lost weight, didn't sleep, and barely
lifted a brush- let alone running bath water.
In short, he looked like he was- suffering.
Sierith's Flight (33.02.08) altered the devastating path this boy was on and he has since shaken off the despair and decided to live again.

Born in space, his first birthday was celebrated aboard a research
vessel. His second, again, was celebrated in the depths of space. Third
and fourth... were no different from his first two. It was the only
life that the first born child of Brent and Sharon MacKenzie knew and
up until the crunch of soil underfoot, the only life he wanted. But at
only four years old, how far does your world reach?
Pern opened up a whole new universe to the youngster, fraught with
danger and excitement, wide open spaces to play with no one shouting
not to run in the corridors. Brilliant blue skies replaced the
perpetual night of deep space, lush green fields washed away the
indifferent coldness of recreation halls, and the constant thrum of
machinery had melted away, leaving the boy wondering if his bones had
always vibrated.
And so it was that he became one of the "ill", affected with the
strange malady that forced the FSP to abandon its people on the
primitive planet of Pern.
Sh'ay is from the Des Collines Cothold, where he was later searched and
stood on the Sands to Impress the center of his Universe, Brown Morlyth with the Magpie Class.
Since then, both were gravely injured during Threadfall on 32.02.17. Sh'ay underwent massive reconstructive surgery, witnessed the death of a more then one friend, been shown the ways of lovemaking by Sabrinn, and apprenticed to be a Harper.

Lady Nyneve is deaf and though she appears to otherwise be healthy, she is closely monitored for any signs of health difficulties, on top of her handicap. A handicap she does very well with, however she is a pet only and will not be bred.
Cat Heis gave Nyneve to Sh'ay (Turns End year 32) in hopes that the two souls would help one another overcome their difficulties. The Brownrider attends regular sessions with Cat or Tina learning basic obediance, as well as special care for the dog's special needs.

while net fishing with his fellow young rider, Bronze bonded G'rin.
Goldrider Ondelle had had the boys acting as liasons for her and the
scientists at Alpha and Delta regarding the reintroduction of the
extinct wherries when G'rin fell from his dragon, Kerinth's, back. The
marine predator that had previously attacked Green Elspath struck, this
time taking the life of a rider, son, and friend.
