PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION |
T’rel is a big man. Perhaps that’s an understatement. He’s built like the typical earth tank. Standing about 6’8” tall, he weighs in at over 300 pounds of muscle. Big shoulders, big chest, it’s obvious why he chose smithing as his craft.
He wears his auburn hair a little on the long side, usually tugged back into a tail. His green eyes are almost always laughing at something, though he rarely says what. His lips are too wide, his nose broken several times, and one ear is noticeably lower than the other, not to mention numerous scars from scrapes as a teenager. |

T’rel is usually good natured, though when he is angered, it happens fast and without much warning. He’s patient with his children and his weyrmate, and usually with others though, once again, if he’s had a bad day, he’s more than liable to chew your head off than to smile.

| SHORT HISTORY |
Tavrel was born at Fort Hold to a smith and, before long, it became obvious he was going to grow up quite large. He took to fighting for money, boxing and scrapping while people bet on him or his opponent. His family wasn’t too keen on the idea, though it did bring in money. And then, one day, his father was repairing a wall and Tav agreed to help. Low and behold, he found his calling.
He quickly became very good at laying bricks and was soon sought after for some of the more ornamental work, not to mention the sturdy repairs. He was sent with a crew to Dawnsisters Hold to repair the stables (which he has done many times since then) and was Searched, much to his surprise, since he was 17 at the time and thought himself a little too old.
He impressed brown Rivorth on the first stand and thoroughly enjoyed his time as a weyrling, learning that if he stayed at Dawnsister’s, he could cross craft and keep up with his smithing. He was all up for that. And then, one day, he saw a girl in the weyrling class. Zoriah was her name. And he fell in love.
Zoriah and T’rel have twin girls, Zorelle and Variah, who are the pride of their parents. The couple are devoted weyrmates, though both understand that flights may take them to other’s arms, they will always return to each other.

Bit is a loud and obnoxious green, though she does calm down if scolded. Her hide is streaked with white along her wing edges and a splotch on her nose, which looks like someone took a bite out of her. And she nearly took a bite out of T’rel when he first fed her. Hence, the name.
